International events, local initiatives, cultural lectures, sector shows and meetings open to the public.
Events put on by us or projects born out of collaborations with institutions, universities, foundations and other companies: we’re there, wherever they’re talking about energy, contributing to the global debate on the energy transition and the technological innovations we need to achieve it. We listen to ideas as they’re born and share our proposals.
Eni is once again a partner of the Annual ANCI Assembly, the most prestigious event of the year for Italy’s public administration. The meeting serves as a key opportunity for dialogue between the government, local administrators, and the business community. Mayors, local leaders, and prominent figures from politics, government, and business meet to discuss the major challenges ahead: innovation, the culture of common goods, environmental, social, and financial sustainability, city safety, urban regeneration, and the efficiency of local administrations in driving development and improving citizens’ well-being..
The 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference, conventionally known as COP (short for Conference of the Parties), is being held in Azerbaijan. Through a series of formal meetings, governments assess global efforts to advance the Paris Agreement and the Convention, seeking to limit global warming to 1.5°C based on the latest scientific knowledge. Currently, there are 198 Parties to the Convention (197 countries plus the European Union), representing near-universal participation. At each COP, world leaders gather to assess progress and negotiate the best ways to tackle climate change.
In collaboration with Fabbrica di San Pietro, Eni has initiated a technical sponsorship for the study conducted by EniProgetti S.p.A., in partnership with Eni’s Exploration/Geology and Geophysics division and the University of Padua, which was carried out in 2023. The study involved a comprehensive documentary analysis of the building’s soils and foundations, including a feasibility study and a technical proposal for the deployment of geophysical and geotechnical investigations aimed at implementing a “continuous” predictive structural monitoring system for the Basilica’s foundation structure. The sponsorship is intended to ensure the proper execution of the study.
This year, Eni is again taking part as a partner in ADIPEC, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference, one of the world’s leading events in the energy and oil sector. As a top platform for exhibitions and conferences, ADIPEC hosts hundreds of speakers, thousands of exhibiting companies, and tens of thousands of professionals from around the world. This year’s conference aims to highlight the importance and value of energy in accelerating an economic transformation that benefits people, the planet and the collective prosperity of the world.
