The Ruwais refining complex in the United Arab Emirates is the fourth largest in the world in terms of production capacity and guarantees a high level of conversion. The refinery, which uses the best technology available, is part of the deal to acquire 20% of the refining assets of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
Our strategy is aimed at diversifying energy sources and countries of supply to ensure energy security and increasingly fair and universal energy access. Technological innovation allows us to repurpose structurally weak industrial sites to expand our production and distribution capacity.

The Ruwais complex continues to be the subject of expansion, maintaining its transformation into the largest refining and petro-chemical site in the world. The use of the most advanced technology ensures a high level of conversion for the refinery plant, which can advantageously exploit the proximity of fields supplying crude oil and natural gas, as well as the strategic position to eastern and western markets.
