Eni: Calenzano fuel depot fire update

Rome, December 9, 2024 – Regarding the explosion that occurred this morning at the Calenzano fuel depot, Eni refers to the information provided by the Prefecture regarding the impact of the accident on the population.

Eni expresses its deepest sympathy to the families of the deceased and to the people involved in the accident.

Eni is fully cooperating with the relevant authorities to determine the dynamics and causes of the explosion of one of the tankers in the loading shelter.

Eni confirms that the fire was completely extinguished this morning by firefighters in a timely manner.
