Sustainability: our transformation within a changing world

We contribute to providing affordable and increasingly sustainable energy for people and the environment, with a view to long-term value creation.

Eni for: our commitment to a socially just and sustainable energy transition

Sustainability is about ensuring that the needs of the present are met without compromising the future of the next generations. We contribute to providing affordable energy for people in an increasingly environmentally sustainable manner. We expand access to energy through technologies that progressively reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Our integrated sustainability strategy is described in Eni for, the report which shows the link between our mission and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, also providing data and results on the progress of local development projects launched in Italy and around the world.

Eni for 2023: our Sustainability Report

The report is divided into three volumes: the full version (Eni for 2023 - A Just Transition), the collection of all sustainability data over the last five years (Eni for 2023 - Sustainability Performance) and the summary (Eni for 2023 - Executive Summary). To this latter, it is added the Human Rights document (Eni for Human Rights). Eni’s Consolidated disclosure of non-financial information (NFI) drawn up in accordance with the Legislative Decree no. 254/2016 is published within the Annual Report, in line with the company’s process of integrating non-financial with financial information, as of 2010. For the NFI 2023 see pages 140-225 of the 2023 Annual Report in the “Annual and Quarterly Reports” section.
