Filomena Castaldo
Head of the Environmental and Biological Laboratories
I am a chemical engineer. I spent the first few years of my career in the academic world, completing a PhD and launching a Post-Doc project. Then I joined Eni, in Research and Development. I have worked on laboratory projects focusing on gas enhancement, and pilot projects for natural gas softening and CO2 capture and enhancement. I have worked with Italian universities, startups and spin-offs. My current position is Head of the Environmental and Biological Laboratories at the Eni Research Centre in San Donato Milanese. This is with a view to gaining consolidated skills on topics including Decarbonisation, Energy Transition and Environmental Reconversion.
