Head of HSEQ - Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
Born in Melito di Porto Salvo in 1978. In 2022, he joined Eni Rewind as Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
Experience
His experience at Eni began in 2007 in Algeria, where he managed the HSE Upstream operations of the Sahara onshore oil treatment plants.
His professional career continued mainly on the African continent: from 2010, for three years, he was QHSE and Sustainability Manager for Eni Ghana in a deep water exploration project, providing logistical support for drilling activities with the aim of guaranteeing the management of site safety.
In 2013, he held the role of HSE Deputy General Manager in Egypt, promoting good practices in the fields of health, safety and the environment in the operations of the joint venture between Eni and the local partner Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.
From 2014, as HSE Manager for Eni East Africa in Mozambique, he worked on the development of gas on and offshore projects, establishing a managerial culture on safety and quality issues and coordinating his team in obtaining the environmental license for the Coral FLNG project.
Between 2016 and 2020, he worked in Angola, supporting the launch of the East-Hub project and, subsequently, in Nigeria in the role of HSE Divisional Manager.
In March 2020 he returned to Italy to manage the HSE and Permitting function at the Eni Southern District in Viggiano, Basilicata.
He has a degree in Geological Sciences from the Sapienza Università of Roma and obtained a Master's degree in Management Systems for Health, Safety, the Environment and Quality.
