Born in Piacenza in 1978, he has been Eni Rewind's Head of Environmental Procurement since July 2019.
Experience
A graduate in Management Engineering from the University of Parma, he joined Eni in 2003.
He developed his professional career in the Procurement department, initially gaining cross-departmental experience in IT procurement, consultancy, professional services and drilling.
From 2008 to 2010 he was head of the Compliance Procurement department in Pakistan, responsible for aligning the subsidiary with Eni's methodologies and best practices and coordinating procurement for the first offshore project in the country.
From 2011 to 2012, he was based at HQ as Head of Contractual Standards for Eni procurement, developing a new model for creating and managing the contractual standards that underpin all Eni procurement processes.
From 2012 to 2013, he worked in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in Togo, supporting the procurement activities of Eni's start-ups in the two countries, in particular for Eni Togo's first offshore project.
He returned to HQ in 2013 and took on the role of supplier qualification and development manager within Eni procurement. During this period, he coordinated the centralisation of qualification activities for Eni’s subsidiaries in Italy and developed new models and processes for Eni's supplier qualification activities.
He moved to Eni Upstream and Technical Services in 2016 as Vice President of Upstream Procurement, developing and coordinating procurement strategies, including the first sourcing strategies to support Eni's renewable energy activities.
Since July 2019 he has been responsible for environmental procurement at Eni Rewind where he sets and coordinates all aspects of procurement to support business processes.
