In Gela, on behalf of Eni's RaGe company, we completed the dismantling of obsolete installations related to the refining process: the Snox chimney, the old burner, the drills and the G300 boiler. These were technically very complex works, which meant that they had to be dismantled from the top down, so as not to interfere with the plant's other operations. From the demolition of the structures, we have sent around 6,000 tonnes of scrap metal, motors and electrical cables for recovery, which will find a second life in the civil and industrial sectors.
