Our activities in Ravenna

Eni and Snam are working on a CO₂ storage facility off the coast of Ravenna that will use depleted gas fields to contain carbon hydroxide emissions from the industrial districts.

Exploiting the great capacity of the Adriatic Sea’s depleted natural gas fields, the Ravenna hub is set to become one of the world's largest CO2 storage sites and the benchmark in the Mediterranean.
