The incubation and refinement programme for 35 entrepreneurs in the Republic of Congo officially started on 3 April. The project, a joint effort with the Cariplo Factory innovation hub and Seedstars, a group aiding entrepreneurs with technology, was developed alongside the NGOs AVSI and BeEntrepreneurs.
The programme aims to develop innovative solutions in energy transition and decarbonisation, train a new generation of Congolese entrepreneurs, and boost local economic development.
During the two-day bootcamp on 1 and 2 April in Brazzaville, the 35 entrepreneurs who succeeded in the Yasika competition, initiated in January 2025, had the chance to develop a robust business vision and gain essential skills for their company's growth journey.
A team of experts guided the participants through training sessions and practical activities, stimulating networking and collaboration among the emerging businesses. The incubation and refinement process will now be enhanced through a hybrid approach, blending in-person and online sessions to provide constant and adaptable support for participants.
Through this project, Joule aims to catalyse local innovation, an essential driver for the country's socio-economic growth. This initiative seeks to help project leaders tackle current energy and environmental issues by fostering sustainable and effective solutions for the region.
