The second edition of the Ora! - Outpost Ravenna for Energy Transition has come to an end with some impressive results. The innovation platform focused on technologies related to the world of blue and green economy to support the transition of local companies thanks to partnerships and industrial collaborations with international startups and scaleups.

More than 200 startups made contact with local companies, including 65 from 20 countries around the world, and collaborations were also forged with 11 companies that participated in 17 innovation challenges. In addition, all participants received more than 150 hours of open innovation training and personalised mentoring sessions. The event to present the results of the project, promoted by Joule in collaboration with local institutions and Mind the Bridge, took place on 19 June in Ravenna at Palazzo Rasponi Dalle Teste and brought together all the participants and representatives of the local business community.

"The results of this second edition," explained Antonietta De Sanctis, Head of Startup Acceleration Program at Joule, "continue to be encouraging and significant, showing that we are on the right track and that the collaboration between young talent, startups and companies in the Ravenna area is a key factor in strengthening the local ecosystem at an international level. We are already thinking", she concluded, "about the next edition, which will also include the training of promising young high school students as an integral part of the project".

Among those present was the Mayor of Ravenna, Michele De Pascale. "We are very pleased with the results of this second edition of the project, not only in terms of numbers, but also because this experience has proved to be a good model for supporting local companies and young talent, through dialogue with important international startups. We had no doubt that a large company like Eni, a leader in technology transfer and business acceleration, would develop such a high quality initiative, capable of providing the productive ecosystem and young talent with new tools and opportunities in the green and blue economy sectors".
