Energy transition, climate change and circular economy were the topics addressed by project School4life 2.0, which saw the participation of 21 experts from the “Joule Expert Academy” who provided their expertise and experience to approximately 1,000 pupils from middle and secondary schools across Italy.

The aim is to reduce early school leaving and support all those youths who run the risk of dropping out of school and thus becoming part of the NEET category.  Youths who are Neither in Employment or in Education or Training. The Joule Experts contributed to the success of the initiative by inspiring, stimulating and engaging students in their learning through the transfer of skills and corporate values.

The project, which is carried out by Elis with the partnership of Eni Joule, involved a total of 12 schools, with each group completing interesting project work on challenges set by the Experts, with innovative pitches and documentation which, on the day of the Closing Celebration held last 6th June, saw the team from the I.I.S.S. Pacinotti Secondary School from Taranto win the energy transition challenge with the precious support of Expert Luigi Miozza.

The other Experts who took part in the project include: Gianluca Agresta, Dario Basile, Marco Basile, Cristina Bonanomi, Elisa Bonica, Lea Roberta Carbone, Filomena Castaldo, Giulia Ceriotti, Stefano Cianca, Bruna Contento, Manuela Macera, Rosamaria Marrazzo, Laura Meda, Miriam Parisi, Luigi Perna, Davide Resentini, Sabina Rossi, Pamela Tempone, Andrea Tondinelli and Matteo Visentin.
