In the city of Basra, Iraq, we collaborate with the country's authorities to develop specialist services in the local health system in order to bring them into line with international standards and growing regional demand. Our investments are concentrated in oncological diagnostics and in the haemato-oncology and surgical departments of the Children's Hospital. We are also involved in the training of doctors in the pediatric field, in the renovation and expansion of the Basra Cancer Children Hospital and in the supply of specific medical equipment in the field of oncology.
In Iraq, we operate in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and development, particularly in the area of the Zubair field. At the same time, to support local development, we carry out initiatives to promote health, and education, and to ensure greater access to energy and water in the region.
