Eni's path to just transition
Eni for is the voluntary sustainability report that illustrates Eni's contribution to a just transition. A transition to an energy system able to guarantee access to it as well as the achievement of zero net emissions by 2050, through an equal and inclusive approach that enables responsible management of the
social impacts of the transition - towards workers, communities and customers - and promotes opportunities for sustainable economic and social growth in developing countries. Following the three pillars of Eni's business model, Carbon neutrality by 2050, Operational excellence and Alliances for development, the document presents tangible cases and testimonies of people with whom the company shares its journey.

Our business model
Emissions reduction must be inclusive and that is to include the management of social impact. In this perspective, a "just transition" considers the impact of energy transformation on people, from directly and indirectly employed workers to communities and consumers.
Sharing this vision, our business model aims to create value for all and to contribute, directly or indirectly, to the achievement of our Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by supporting a socially just energy transition.
