Our goal is to offer high environmental quality fuels and lubricants that constantly anticipate the strictest law standards.
The growing demand for high performance fuels with low environmental impact (zero sulfur) and the expansion of the market (especially in China and India) is urging the oil industry to invest heavily in upgrading plants as well as in new systems and refineries.
Even the areas that export fuels, such as the Middle East and Latin America, will be forced to improve the quality of the fuels they produce complying with the expected standards of the various geographical zones they supply, acknowledging that such standards are rapidly converging with the stricter ones implemented in industrialized Countries.
Product innovation is also a result of the collaboration with car manifacturers. Among them we find, Iveco and Fiat Research Center, to whom we can add already existing contacts in the lubricant sector as those with Fiat, Piaggio, Daimler, Volkswagen, Opel GM, Wärtsilä, Man.
In March 2011 it was presented the new eni blu+ range, made up of superior quality fuels (diesel and petrol), developed to keep valves and injectors completely clean and guarantee excellent performance.

High performance Bitumen
The new eni blu super+ petrol has high octane rating (100 RON) and excellent detergency properties.
The high octane rating showed increased power (up to 8%) and improved accelleration (up to 6%) compared to standard gasoline. The best performance was obtained without penalising fuel consumption.
The high detergency properties allow blu super+ to mantain the valves clean and remove deposits previously accumulated in vehicles run on commercial fuels. The immediate keep-clean effect reduces deposits by more than 95%.The clean-up test (M111 IVD - CEC F-20-98) showed that blu super+ can remove up to 80% of deposits on valves in vehicles run on reference fuel. The combination of these characteristics improves engine performance.
The new blu diesel+ is a fuel of higher quality, thanks to the excellent cleaning properties and high cetane number.
The excellent cleaning properties ensure the keep-clean effect, which is the maintenance of cleanliness in the injection system and of the maximum engine power.
Due to the clean-up effect, blu diesel+ guarantees a drastic removal of deposits on the injectors, allowing the Full Power Restoration. These effects were verified on a DW10 engine with Euro 5 injectors, as required by the CEC F-98-08 test.
The high cetane number allows easier cold starting and reduces noise and engine vibration. Road tests have shown that the continuous use of blu diesel+ could allow diesel fuel savings up to 4%.
In the field of automotive lubricants, the most significant products developed by R&D are in the high-performance range and have met both the requirements of wide market applications and the specific demands of the main car manufactures.

From the experience of the Eliflex line, using a patented formulation with polymers, hydrocarbon waxes with high molecular weight and specific additives, it was possible to carry out a series of products with excellent flow and workability, with the following benefits:
For their characteristics these products are optimally used in critical environmental conditions (at night or in winter) and in recycling of exhausted hot asphalt, allowing the regeneration of the milled material.
