The management of diversity – gender, cultural, age – within the company is based on integration and inclusion; a natural consequence of the company's commitment to meritocracy, which is part of the company's culture.
Eni is convinced that the two main routes towards the enhancement of diversity inside the company are, on the one hand, the elimination of barriers – both cultural and material – that inhibit the development of the full potential of people. And, on the other, that the enhancement of professionalism and career management must be determined by inclusive criteria. In this way people are put in the condition to pursue their own development objectives starting from a common and non-discriminatory base.
