Eni has five refineries. What are your plans for the refining area?

In this sector Eni intends to increase the flexibility of its refining system aimed at optimizing its supply system and improving product quality, in line with the expected trends of demand for fuels.

In the next four years the implementation of these strategies will be supported by a capital expenditure program of approximately €4.3 billion, focused on upgrading refineries, through an increase of primary balanced refining and conversion capacity and of refineries' flexibility and efficiency, with the objective to strengthen Eni's role of leading player in the Mediterranean area, targeting a leadership position in Europe, and enhancing Eni's competitive position in marketing in Italy and in selected Europeanmarkets.
