What security protection is there on purchases?

To protect cardholders from fraud and to guarantee secure payment, our system is continually being updated using the most advanced technology available. We monitor the payments scenario constantly, invest in state-of-art equipment and procedures, and play an active role at the Fuel Industry Card Fraud Intelligence Bureau (FICFIB).
Cards are read by POS machines connected to a central computer in Europe, which authorises transactions centrally. Each purchase transaction is detailed on the invoice.
All Multicard, Multicard Easy and Truckpass24 cards have the following the security features:
- Microchip, hologram and magnetic strip.
- PIN number, which must be given to authorise transactions.
- Immediate freeze of credit card when loss or theft is reported.
- Cardholder password
- Daily and fortnightly checks on spending limit, as requested.
- When requested by the cardholder, a mileage statement each time the tank is filled.
