A methane-powered car is refuelled by connecting the hose to the vehicle's filling valve, usually positioned next to the petrol cap. From there a pipe carries the pressurised gas to the on-board storage tank.
In a modern filling station this takes about 2/3 minutes for an average-sized car with a tank holding 80/100 litres, equivalent to 300 km.
