Modern engine design has significantly boosted the possibility of methane conversion. Currently there are no mechanical or electronic drawbacks to converting many of today's petrol engines to methane, once a qualified technician has ascertained that conversion is possible, and the most suitable type of equipment to be installed.
Even injection engines with variable tuning can be fitted for methane, including the latest generation of methane-injection systems.
