Italy's methane distribution network is constantly expanding. By June 2010 over 500 filling stations were selling Eni gas, and in recent years methane has become available in areas where previously it had been difficult to obtain, such as Puglia (the province of Bari is now particularly well supplied) or even totally unavailable, such as Sicily.
(see our site page "LA MAPPA DEI DISTRIBUTORI AD INSEGNA "M-METANO" IN ITALIA").
The aim over the next few years is to create a network of over 1000 methane outlets.
